  • CFTC Wins Lawsuit Against Ooki DAO. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has won a lawsuit against Ooki DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that offered a token that could be used to trade futures contracts on the CFTC's regulated markets. The CFTC alleged that Ooki DAO violated the Commodity Exchange Act by failing to register as a futures commission merchant.

Gox in 2014.

Three DeFi-focused venture capital firms, Three Arrows Capital, Alameda Research, and Pantera Capital, have sued Curve Finance CEO Michael Egorov, alleging that he misappropriated funds from the Curve Treasury. The firms allege that Egorov used the funds to pay for personal expenses, including a yacht and a private jet.
  • Atomic Wallet Hackers Move Stolen Funds via OFAC-Sanctioned Exchange Garantex: Elliptic. Hackers who stole over $100 million worth of cryptocurrency from the Atomic Wallet have moved some of the funds through the OFAC-sanctioned exchange Garantex.
